Competition Results
Thank you for applying to the 4th Petrichor International Music Competition and for your patience during the review process.
This year we were honored to receive several hundred submissions from 38 countries. Selecting the winners was a tremendous challenge for our jury, and in some cases, more than three winners were named to share prizes due to the outstanding quality of the work submitted.
Over the coming weeks, our team will contact all winners, finalists, and semi-finalists regarding next steps.
We are deeply grateful that you chose to share your music with us. The overall level of submissions was exceptionally high, which made the process both challenging and rewarding for our panel. In recognition of this, the committee decided to highlight an additional 10 (or more) applicants who advanced to the semi-final round as a way to honor their remarkable work
Please note that due to the large number of submissions and the nature of the competition, which is not designed as an educational program, we are unable to provide feedback on individual applications. Not being selected this year does not in any mean reflect negatively on the quality of your music, and we strongly encourage you to consider applying again to future editions, as our jury rotates annually.
Due to a technical issue in 2023, we temporarily paused that year’s application process. A small number of submissions had already been received, and these were carried forward to the 4th edition. They were reviewed alongside the 4th edition applications and considered with equal care by the jury. This ensured that no applicant from 2023 was excluded, while also keeping the overall number of participants consistent with previous years and fair to all participants.
If you have questions or ideas you would like to share, please feel free to reach out to us by email.
